Scott A. Chaplan

Scott A. Chaplan is a seasoned business leader and trusted advisor with over 25 years of experience serving Family Offices, High Net Worth Individuals, Real Estate Investors, and Mid-Market companies. As founder of the Urban Group of Companies, he has transformed the firm into a leading private equity and advisory services company, managing over $1 billion in properties.
A pioneer in environmentally sustainable inner-city projects, Scott brings a unique blend of legal expertise and financial acumen to his clients. He is a skilled navigator of subsidies, negotiations, and out-of-the-box solutions. Scott holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Pepperdine University School of Law and a business/accounting degree from the University of Southern California (USC). He serves on multiple for-profit and non-profit boards, further solidifying his reputation as a respected industry leader.
Rick Greene
GENERAL COUNSEL
Richard J. Greene, a 1975 graduate with honors from Southwestern University School of Law, heads the law firm Greene & Chaplan, LLP. With a background dating back to the early 1980s, his expertise spans finance, business litigation, transactions, real estate, estate planning, intellectual property, and corporate matters. Mr. Greene holds an A-V rating, the highest awarded by Martindale-Hubbell, and is a member of the California State Bar Association and the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
Consuela Kielbowicz
CHIEF MARKETING MANAGER
Consuela Kielbowicz is a driving force behind Del Rey's Advisory business, bringing a unique combination of skills and expertise to the table. With a deep understanding of the market and a keen insight into buyer psychology, she plays a crucial role in identifying, acquiring, and disposing of investment opportunities.
Her passion for design and architecture adds a valuable layer to her work, enabling clients and investors to achieve higher returns through shorter sale cycles and higher exit prices.
Since joining the Urban Group of Companies in 2010, Consuela has been instrumental in launching multiple funds, including Del Rey Urban Capital's first fund and three subsequent funds. Her expertise in acquisitions, analysis, and design has been a key factor in the success of these ventures.
Before joining Del Rey, Consuela developed her skills at Sotheby's International Realty and Keller Williams, ultimately becoming Vice-President of Acquisitions and Dispositions at Del Rey Urban.
Allyssa Forwerck

Allyssa brings a unique blend of creativity, marketing expertise, and real estate savvy to our advisory team. A graduate of Saginaw Valley State University in Michigan, she honed her skills in strategic marketing, communication, and digital media. Her passion for real estate led her to Southern California, where she began her career as a marketing manager and developed a deep understanding of the industry.
As our office manager, Allyssa leverages her extensive background and marketing expertise to deliver exceptional results. Known for her reliability, attention to detail, and organizational skills, she ensures seamless project and transaction management. Her dedication to quality and ability to juggle multiple tasks make her an invaluable asset to our team.
